npx getclaros signs in without you pasting a key:
  1. The CLI prints a URL and a code like BCDF-GHJK, and opens the browser (--no-browser to only print it).
  2. On /device you sign in if you aren’t already (the same WorkOS sign-in as the web app), then see the code, the app, the device name and a coarse network hint. Only approve if your terminal shows this exact code.
  3. Pick your workspace, then Approve. Any member can approve: the key is yours and can only check actions and read maps.
  4. The CLI receives an agent key for that workspace and saves it in ~/.config/getclaros/config.json (mode 0600). It never prints it.
The code is valid 10 minutes and yields one key at most. The CLI never touches WorkOS: it gets a Claros agent key, not a WorkOS session. Other ways in: --key clr_… or $CLAROS_KEY, or --paste for a hidden paste.

The protocol

For your own CLI or tool:
Poll every interval seconds. Errors (400): authorization_pending, slow_down (add 5 s), access_denied, expired_token, invalid_grant. Approved:
Codes are 8 letters from 20 consonants (no vowels, no 0/O/1/I), typed case- and dash-insensitively. Starting sign-in is limited to 10 per IP, then 1 every 20 seconds.
